Efficacy Data for Endogenous Anterior Uveitis
The efficacy of DUREZOL® Emulsion was evaluated in 2 head-to-head studies versus Pred Forte. Both studies demonstrated that DUREZOL® Emulsion was equally effective as Pred Forte ophthalmic suspension1,2*
The upper 95% CL on the difference was less than the noninferiority margin of 0.5 units.2
Data from a multicenter, randomized, double-masked, active-controlled noninferiority trial in patients with endogenous anterior uveitis. Patients with >10 anterior chamber (AC) cells and a flare score of ≥2 in the same eye were randomized to self-instill 1 drop of DUREZOL® (difluprednate ophthalmic emulsion) 0.05% 4 times daily or 1 drop of Pred Forte* (prednisolone acetate 1.0%) 8 times daily for 14 days. Results are from the per protocol population analysis.2
